Evidence: price is lower on iHerb, even if you only buy one item, convert from USD to SGD, and include the full shipping costs!

I didn't know the extent of the mark-ups of imported products here until I went around and did alittle price comparisons...

This was the price of a biotin shampoo from Avalon at a leading outlet here in Singapore, as at 4 Aug 2014.

You may say, "well, that's because these big department outlets usually mark up their prices." Fair enough. I then went to a neighbourhood budget shop at Toa Payoh Central, near HDB hub (those familiar with that area would know which few stores I'm talking about) to have a look-see. This is the price for a 900+ml bottle of 'Mane and Tail' shampoo, as at 5 Aug 2014. It's SGD$26.90.

Is it safe to purchase from iherb.com? A brief review of iHerb.com: safe and cheaper than off-the-shelf supplements in Singapore!

Hey there! Its been a long time!

Just wanted to share, if anyone is thinking of making the first step to purchase supplements from iherb.com, wait no further! I had my reservations about buying supplements online too, questions like "is it safe?", "are they counterfeit products?" crossed my mind..but I'm glad I made that first step! 

Supplements were way cheaper than what you can find in leading departmental stores. Delivery was quick too! About 9 days, and relatively cheap at US$4 up to approx 6kg or USD$200 value. The Sound of Lightning...

Have you ever heard the sound of lightning? I don't recall hearing such a noise until 2 streaks of lightning bolts crashed near my room's window just now ....it sounded like the sound of plasma cannons from a Sci-Fi movie...

Couldn't sleep. Don't know the reason why but my mind kept thinking about stuff.





Incidentally, my granny also woke up super early...going downstairs for breakfast with her now :)

Lightning Crashes

There was a massive lightning storm last week near my neighbourhood..and this was caught on camera!

Scrambled to shut down the computer... Don't you get this feeling of majesty and awe when lightning strikes..around you? Maybe its because we in Singapore don't really experience 'Mother Nature's wrath' much.
