Is it safe to purchase from iherb.com? A brief review of iHerb.com: safe and cheaper than off-the-shelf supplements in Singapore!
Hey there! Its been a long time!
Just wanted to share, if anyone is thinking of making the first step to purchase supplements from iherb.com, wait no further! I had my reservations about buying supplements online too, questions like "is it safe?", "are they counterfeit products?" crossed my mind..but I'm glad I made that first step!
Supplements were way cheaper than what you can find in leading departmental stores. Delivery was quick too! About 9 days, and relatively cheap at US$4 up to approx 6kg or USD$200 value. To top it off, when you quote my discount code KFV090 upon ordering, you would get up to USD$10 off your purchase price! So do quote my code please! Anyone can use it! :)
My first purchases consisted of commonly-taken supplements like Acetyl L-Carnitine, multivitamins, and Omega 3 fish oils - to which I would recommend this iteration http://bit.ly/1qDZh6a from Carlson (American brand). It's got a high concentration of the good stuff (EPA & DHA). Usually, you would have to take 2000mg (probably two capsules?) to get 500mg of EPA and DHA. Carlson's Super Omega-3 gives you that in 1000mg. It's even gotten a good evaluation from ConsumerLabs.com, an independent testing outfit, for quality. And the price is excellent vis a vis what you can get in Singapore off the shelves, even with shipping added. Its even better with my discount code KVF090, since first time buyers will get up to USD$10 off the first purchase! :P It's relatively odourless as well, which is always a plus when getting fish oils.
Do check out their multi-vitamins too. They've got awesome stuff from Nature's Way (in Singapore its rebranded as "Greenlife") Alive! series of whole food-based multivitamins at unbeatable prices.
Trust me. Once you've started buying from iherb.com, you will never go to any of any of our over-priced pharmacies. Ever.
p.s I just learnt that my colleagues have been benefiting from iherb's crazily cheap prices for years!!
Cheers
